The new IthacaEvents.com is here, and we've flipped the old site on its ear to give you a browse-able arts and cultural calendar that makes it easy to find out more about the kinds of things YOU like to do and see in Tompkins County! Thanks to our friends at AWP and with the support of the Tompkins County Tourism Program, IE.com now has all sorts of new features, tools, and tricks to introduce you to new and exciting corners of the arts and cultural community.

Outside of the bold look, some other new things you'll notice:

Today, Tomorrow, Day After - the home page now gives you a quick 3 day snapshot of upcoming events, including exhibitions, performances, workshops, and more!

New Browse features - looking for a certain type of program, the upcoming events at a certain location, or maybe just stuff that fits your current mood? IE.com users can now browse through listings by category (music, theatre, museums, etc.), by venue (e.g. get the whole upcoming schedule of the Kitchen Theatre, the State, or the Johnson Museum), or by Theme.

Themes - a new way for events with different categories, but similar subject, content, or mood to get all mixed up together! Looking for all the Family Friendly events? We've got a theme for you! Cutting edge arts across all categories? Just click "Experimental."

You May Also Like... - the new IthacaEvents.com gives you lots of opportunities to explore the great big landscape of Tompkins County's arts and culture. On every event listing, you'll find a list of similar events under the "You May Also Like" heading. Keep clicking! You're bound to find something new and fun to try!

Share your favorites - with new ways to share information, IE.com lets the events come to YOU! If you have a favorite kind of program, and you want to know the MOMENT a new event is listed on the site, simply create a custom RSS feed and be up-to-date 24/7! Share your own favorites through Facebook, or even add an IthacaEvents.com widget to your website or blog!

Producer Groups - arts and cultural organizations (we call them "Event Producers") sometimes work together to form groups like the Ithaca Theatre Collective or the Discovery Trail. Now with just a click, you can see ALL their events in one easy list.
