THE KITCHEN THEATRE 2012-13 SEASON BEGINS WITH
FRANKIE & JOHNNY IN THE CLAIR DE LUNE

 Aug 29 through Sept 16

Bountiful

Frankie is a waitress, and Johnny is a cook and both are alone and unconnected.  Born in the 1940's, children in the 1950's, they came of age in the 1960's and now it's the 80's and they don't know if anything is coming next.  A wildly romantic,  unexpectedly funny and unflinchingly frank story of relationships and love.

Ages 18+ nudity, and adult language

Directed by: Rachel Lampert

THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL
AT THE HANGAR THEATRE!

Bountiful

Sept 6
through
Sept 15

"The rarest of theatre experiences, an evening which will prove an indelible memory."

Written by two-time Oscar winner Horton Foote, The Trip to Bountiful is an American classic.  Carrie Watts lives with her son and daughter-in-law in a small Houston flat, desperate to return to her childhood home in Bountiful, Texas.  If she can, Carrie knows she will reclaim her dignity, her peace of mind, and her sense of self.  This 1953 Broadway drama that became an award-winning film is a moving and riveting story of acceptance and coming home.

Featuring an all homegrown cast of local talent starring Hangar favorite Susannah Berryman (Hangar's Penelope of Ithaca, The Chalk Circle, The Diary of Anne Frank, Cabaret, and The Rainmaker) and Jesse Bush (Hangar's Ever So Humble)..
